I’m a Duck.

Once upon a time, I was a big Disney Duck Comics reader. That was basically the decade of the 90s, in the glory days of Don Rosa and William Van Horn.
I was also a letterhack at the time and had dozens of letters printed in those letters columns.
Recently, David Gerstein pointed out a story that featured a Dave Rawson script where he pulled names from Duck fandom for a series of one-off characters. My name was one of them. Here I am, from Donald Duck Adventures #7 at Gemstone in 2004, when they were publishing these things in digest sized format.
The unfortunate thing here, though, is that I wasn’t reading the Duck comics at the time and completely missed this one. Dave Rawson passed away a few months back, so I can’t thank him anymore.
