“Orbital” Is Back!

Remember “Orbital,” the beautiful science fiction series from Sylvain Runberg and Serge Pellé?

They’re back with volume 9, titled “Secession.” It’s only the French edition so far, but I’m sure Cinebook will get to it eventually. I saw a positive review of it on ActuaBD.com.

I mention it now because time flies. The last volume of that series came out in 2020!

I reviewed the first 7 books in 2018 across a single week, back when I had more time for such activities. I reviewed volume 8 in 2020, just more than two years later. (You can find them all here.)

So, yeah, maybe you’ll see a review of volume 9 at some point this year.

(I just need to get to “Asterix in Lusitania” first…)

One last thought: I’d love to see Cinebook put together some deluxe editions of the series. Oversized hardcovers with four books in each on better paper would collect the first 8 books nicely. It’s a total fanboy dream, I know, but I like to dream big.
