Episode 84: Defending Comixology? WTF?

I’m sure several of you think the title of this podcast should be “Defunding Comixology,” because you think it’s what Amazon has done.

I’m taking the opposite opinion on this one. Amazon is hurting Comixology in the short term for a long term benefit. They are providing focus, but the transition will be a rough one.

We’re already seeing things get better, in fact, and I’m betting things will move pretty fast from here.

In the meantime, if you’re complaining that digital comics aren’t as good as print comics because you can’t sell them later, then let me tell you about NFTs… (I wrote about NFTs last year already.)
