Pipeline #1002 – Doctor Strange, CrossGen Artist’s Edition, and “Big News”

This week in Pipeline Commentary and Review #1002 at ComicBook.com:

In light of the new “Dr. Strange” movie trailer that came out during San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, I went to the current series starting the character and read the first collection.  It’s five issues of beautiful Chris Bachalo artwork, with a Jason Aaron story that made me interested in the character for perhaps the first time. So,yeah, spoiler warning: I liked it.

Plus, I have a recommendation for a new Artist’s Edition that comes from CrossGen, and I ask the question of what kind of “Big News” would truly be “big news” in the current comics world.
