Alex Ross and Dan Jurgens on Superman and the Fantastic Four

Pipeline #1012: Treasury Sized Superman and the Fantastic Four

There once was a time when DC and Marvel got along.  It didn’t last terribly long, and then they burned the bridges down.  And then Disney bought Marvel and there was never another chance of it ever happening again.

But for those small window of 3 – 5 years, the two companies did a few collaborative projects.

“Superman/Fantastic Four” was one such book.  Done larger in the Treasure Edition format, Dan Jurgens melded the two worlds together once again, tied it into Amalgam, and made Superman into Galactus’ herald.  Everything Treasury Sized is BIG, after all. 😉

That’s the subject of this week’s Pipeline at ComicBook.com.
