We’ve known for a few weeks that an all-star Asterix anthology is in the works. We’ve even seen some panels and pages leaking out from various Instagram accounts.

But the Big News hit today from Le Journal Du Dimanche: 

Asterix v38 is coming this fall, October 24th!

They are less than 10 people in the world to know the details of the 38th adventure of Asterix, whose album will be released on October 24, 2019. But in the Journal du Dimanche, the two authors, Didier Conrad and Jean-Yves Ferri, unveil the first panel of the next adventure of the irreducible Gauls.

I expect further updates will dribble out over the course of this, Asterix’s 60th year. I’m going to try to get on the media list.  We did cover the previous book pretty closely, including the grand title/cover unveiling.
