Episode 56: Asterix in America 2

The Asterix Agenda: The Reference Sites:
Asterix v1 is the best deal in the history of digital comics right now, over on Comixology.
I am curious to know if they will adapt the new book/old adventure Le Menhir d’or. I remember buying the record years ago and enjoyed it very much, even though it lacked (in my opinion) the depth of a proper album.
Here is an interesting article about audio versions of Asterix.

If you look on youtube you can find the original recording headed by french voice legend Roger Carel, who recently passed away.

Curiously, I just discovered that it has been re-recorded by more recent voice actors (still famous french talent, but from a younger generation), it’s competent work but not the same for an old-timer collector like me.

The story of this is probably worth a podcast or an article, or both, if I do say so myself. ’nuff said.
PS I just watched a video of a guy trying to explain what an LP is. Boy do I feel old…
